Relocation Terms & Conditions
1. Definitions:
- "Company", "we", "us", and "our" refer to Pinkblock Hot Tub Services.
- "Customer", "you", and "your" refer to the person or entity requesting the hot tub relocation service.
- "Service" refers to the hot tub relocation service provided by the Company.
2. Service Agreement and Responsibilities:
- By requesting our Service, and by paying the deposit, you agree to these terms and conditions in full and enter into a binding contractual agreement with us.
- A significant responsibility rests on you to identify potential challenges, such as access restrictions.
- Physical assistance may be needed on your part during relocation, especially if unforeseen challenges arise.
3. Scheduling and Timing:
- We will provide a time slot for our arrival. Adjustments might be necessary due to varying work commitments, traffic, or delays from other jobs. We commit to maintaining open communication and minimizing potential inconveniences.
4. Pricing and Payment:
- Pricing is based on the unique requirements of the relocation. Standard two-person jobs are billed for 2 hours on arrival at the pick-up location, with additional hours billed at £50 each.
- A £50 non-refundable deposit is essential before the Service. Full payment is due on completion unless arranged otherwise.
5. Preparation, Access, and Hot Tub Size:
- The hot tub should be devoid of water and accessories before the relocation. A standard job involves a 2-person team relocating a hot tub not exceeding the specified dimensions (2.1m x 2.1m) and weight (250kg). Bigger or heavier hot tubs might necessitate more hands or help from an able-bodied individual at both sites.
- For preliminary assessment, we might request photographs or videos. The hot tub will be transported on its side using a sledge 1m wide. It's essential to evaluate both sites for access and potential obstructions - this is your responsibility.
- Please ensure there is ample parking for vehicle and trailer.
- The hot tub should be disconnected from electrical supply and accessories such as a cover lifter.
- An on-site assessment service is available at £50 per location, provided at our discretion.
6. Liabilities and Disclaimers:
- Moving a spa can occasionally result in issues due to the stress exerted on the system. We are not responsible for damage caused by the move, unless directly attributable to our neglect. Acknowledgment that hot tubs left in hibernation for over a month might have latent issues, and we're not liable for post-move discoveries.
- Disclaimers or written confirmations might be requested under certain circumstances. Refusal can result in cancellation of the Service and full charges applied.
- Crane or hiab services are not offered by us. If access isn't feasible and it wasn't communicated to us, we can cancel the Service and charge the complete balance.
- If access is deemed risky but you instruct us to proceed, we're not liable for resultant damages.
7. Additional Requirements:
- An able-bodied individual must be present at both addresses, with at least 8m of clear space.
- Ensure adequate parking for a large van or van and trailer.
- We may cancel a job due to unforeseen circumstances such as equipment failures, staff absences, or traffic issues. We'll endeavor to reschedule.
- Bodycam or headcam footage might be recorded for insurance reasons.
8. Cancellation Policy:
- Cancellations less than a week ahead will forfeit the £50 deposit. Those within 48 hours will incur the full fee.
Governing Law:
These terms are in line with UK law. Disputes will be settled in UK courts.
Changes to Terms:
We reserve the right to modify these terms. Updates will be posted on our website or communicated directly.
