Terms and Conditions - Pinkblock Hot Tub Services (Hot Tub Servicing)

  1. Definitions:

    • "Company", "we", "us", and "our" refer to Pinkblock Hot Tub Services.
    • "Customer", "you", and "your" refer to the person or entity requesting the hot tub servicing service.
    • "Service" refers to the hot tub servicing provided by the Company.
  2. Service Agreement:

    • By requesting our Service, and by paying the non refundable deposit, you agree to these terms and conditions in full and enter into a binding contractual agreement with us.
  3. Preparation:

    • The hot tub should be full, switched on, and contain treated warm water in readiness for the service. We presume the hot tub is in perfect operational condition unless you report issues in advance.
    • Failure to disclose any issues before our arrival may lead to inability to complete the service. In such cases, you will be charged the full service amount and an additional £99 call-out fee once the issues are resolved and we need to revisit.
  4. Qualifications:

    • Our team holds accreditations from BISHTA and CHTT, certifying our capability to service, repair and treat hot tubs. If any issues arise, were present before or were unaware of, we can quote to repair and then service your hot tub once back in full working order.
  5. Claims and Notifications:

    • Any claim for non-delivery of goods or services, damage caused, dissatisfaction, defects, or defective parts supplied by us must be notified in writing within 5 days of the occurrence.
    • In case of parts under warranty, present the receipt and proof of purchase. We should be provided reasonable opportunity to investigate claims and address any issues. We are not liable for faulty parts or failure of parts we provided. The manufacturer is liable.
    • We are not liable for parts failing post a service visit. Any such issues will be deemed unrelated, and separate charges will be applied for ensuing callouts and parts.
  6. Scheduling and Timing:

    • Upon your request, we will provide a time slot for our servicing visit. Adjustments might be necessary due to varying work commitments, traffic, or delays from other jobs. We commit to maintaining open communication and minimizing potential inconveniences.
  7. Subscription Services:

    • By subscribing to our servicing plans, you commit to 12 months of subscription payments. Early cancellation post-service or repair within the subscription term is prohibited.
    • For repairs needed due to negligent actions by you or a third-party, a charge of £99 for callout, and £70 per subsequent hour will be applied.
  8. Service Details and Reporting:

    • Our servicing encompasses a thorough inspection of your hot tub's components, cleaning, and required maintenance. Any parts that need replacement or any additional services that might be needed will be quoted separately and require your approval before we proceed.
    • After the service, our technician will provide a detailed report and will require your signature to acknowledge any observed wear or damage that we did not cause.
  9. Customer Responsibilities:

    • It's your responsibility to notify us of any specific issues or concerns about your hot tub before we begin the servicing. Any undisclosed problems discovered during servicing may incur additional fees.
  10. Liabilities:

    • While we aim to ensure your hot tub is in optimal working condition post-service, we do not offer warranties on our servicing. Parts provided may come with manufacturer warranties, and we'll advise on this.
    • We are not responsible for any damages or malfunctions not directly attributable to our servicing.
  11. Cancellation Policy:

    • Cancellations made less than a week before the service date will incur the fee of £50 (deposit). Cancellation made less than 48 hours before will incur the full fee.
  12. Insurance and Filming:

    • For insurance reasons, we reserve the right to film our servicing procedures using body or headcam equipment.
  13. Governing Law:

    • These terms are in line with UK law. Disputes will be settled in UK courts.
  14. Changes to Terms:

    • We reserve the right to modify these terms. Updates will be posted on our website or communicated directly.
