Top 10 Things To Do This Autumn In Manchester.
1. Oktoberfest

First, we couldn't forget the German celebration of all things Bavarian. When the weather gets colder, embrace it here in Manchester with a giant bratwurst & a Stein of wheat beer in your hand! Albert's Schloss & Manchester Bierkeller are our venues of choice since they have authentic beer halls, live music and dancing on the benches.
2. Enjoy a Cosy Pub

Warm yourself into the colder weather by finding the perfect cosy venues. Our favourite spots are:
- Albert's Schloss - is located in the city centre on Peter Street, Manchester. It's the Bavarian-inspired place to be. With a wide selection of drinks, food and live music seven days a week - what's not to love?
- The Oast House - The word comfy comes to mind when we think of this venue. Whether it's an outside tipi or a Sunday roast inside, you'll find something you like here. Find it in Spinningfields, Manchester.
- The Wharf - is located in Castlefield, Manchester overlooking the canal. It's another gastro-pub vibe, with a country pub service downstairs and a restaurant 'feel' upstairs. They serve great food, cask ales, wine, whiskey and gin.
3. The Great Game Treasure Hunt

Cross a Manchester site-seeing tour with a treasure hunt, and you've got the concept. For something a little more quirky and unique, why not? It's a private self-guided hunt, so you can discover the highlights of Manchester without rushing or keeping up with the group. Go at your own pace, using your smartphone to progress through the City and learn fun facts and landmarks.
4. Booze Cruise

Party on the water with a Cocktails Ahoy Manchester booze cruise! Expect plenty of themed cocktails, DJs, lighting and dancing. They boast different themes for all, including the 80s and prohibition.
5. Autumn Walk

It's simple but free and easy. Enjoy the stunning autumn colours and go for a nice healthy walk. These are some popular walks close to and in Manchester:
- Tandle Hill View Point: Tandle Hill Country Park in Royton, Oldham, offers 110 acres of parkland and woodland to enjoy. There are gentle strolls and more challenging walks with great views. You'll find the best sights and a WW1 memorial at the park's highest point.
- Blackstone Edge: You can start walking at various points depending on whether you'd like a short or long walk. It's a relatively easy hike with stunning views over Littleborough & Rochdale.
- Holcombe Moor to Peel Tower: This circular walk can be slightly more strenuous. Expect woodland and fantastic views of Manchester, especially up at Peel Tower. The walk starts at Ramsbottom.

9. Banksy Exhibition

The world's largest Banksy exhibition? - Here in Manchester? Yes, 145 pieces from the iconic artist will be hosted in a purpose-built gallery in MediaCity, Salford. The display is from 21st October to 8th January, so there'll be plenty of time to check it out.
10. Hire A Hot Tub

Shameless self-plug, but why not hire a hot tub? It's interesting how we brits have got it all wrong with when and how to use hot tubs. In most countries, a hot tub is perfect for when the weather is freezing. But here in the UK, we all hide away as soon as the warm summer weather starts to fade. Here at Pinkblock, we say, continue to enjoy the weather and your gardens - and what better way to do so? Just picture yourself for a second, a pleasant autumnal day, a bit colder, with a slight breeze, and the trees shedding orange and brown leaves around you. This is undoubtedly the perfect setting for a hot tub, not when it's 40 degrees outside. So enjoy Manchester, your garden and the cold weather, and book a date with us online!
So that's it for now, ten of our best ideas for what you could do this autumn in Manchester. We hope this has given you some inspiration, and feel free to contact us if you have any hot tub-related questions or enquiries.
