How To Hire A Hot Tub According To A Hot Tub Hire Company
Here are our 8 quick tips for anyone new to hot tub hire.
1. Book with good company.
Look for a limited company with a website and online presence. Ideally, you'll want trained hot tub hirers with insurance. You can go for a random person on social media, but know that you're taking a risk with them. An excellent reputable hire company is more accountable and less likely to let you down. Second, look for the two R's; results and reviews. For example, we have a tonne of photos and reviews on our website, google my business and socials, so you can easily check the expectation vs the reality when you hire a hot tub with us.
2. Book in an instant online.
Our website offers a fully automated booking system because it's the quickest and easiest way to book in your hot tub hire. Not all companies do this, but we spent a lot of money and time on this because we know how annoying filling/waiting on contact forms can be. Going through our automated booking process will also answer the most common questions you have right away; no need to search through FAQs or message us about things like availability - it's right there. Furthermore, if you have a question or want to go through a person, we have a live chat widget on our website from which we can text you - how easy is that?
3. If you want to hire a hot tub from us, the more info you have upfront, the better.
We know what questions need answering when booking a hot tub, and if you speak with us we'll ask them. However, to be safe with any hot tub hire company, the best thing you can is think about the following before getting in touch and ask questions when you speak to us:
- What dates do you require, and if we have availability for that? (you can check in an instant on our website).
- What kind of hot tub do you need, and is it suitable for you? Do you prefer Rigid or Inflatable Hot Tubs? How many people are you hosting? Are you on a budget? What access do you have to your house - parking, gate, passageways?
- Do you have a 3x3m space for the hot tub? Do you have an outdoor tap, hose and regular socket nearby? Don't worry if you don't; we can help in most situations, but we need to know before the hire date.
- Delivery, set up and collection? Where are you located? We are based in central Manchester and serve the North West. We will charge a small delivery fee if you're more than ten miles away from us. Otherwise, it's free!
- When would you like the hot tub to be ready? If we cold-fill the hot tub on set up, you can expect it to take 12 - 20 hours to heat up. If that's an issue for you, it's easily solved as we can use our hot tap adapters to warm-fill from a kitchen or bathroom tap. However, we will need to know your intentions.
4. Consider the extras you might need.
The hot tub hired alone is excellent, but some extras may enhance your experience. For example, if it's due to rain, ask us about a gazebo too. Our clients regularly forget to check or get a rubbish gazebo and spend their weekend battling with the elements. Our gazebos are of premium quality steel structures with a stone-washed or cream waterproof fabric. The design makes them much more robust against wind and rain, and we also use marquee weights to hold them down securely.
Another example concerns glassware: Glass and hot tubs do not mix well. Of course, you can take the risk, but if you break a glass in a hot tub, you can expect a hefty bill. For this reason, we offer customers plastic glassware, ice buckets and flute holders as an add-on for only £10 more. It'll ensure your hot tub hire is stress-free and looks better than your stuff!
5. Please tell us if you have an extra special event in mind.
Similarly to the above, when hiring a hot tub for a special occasion, such as an anniversary, let us know if we can help you make it that bit more magical. We know what looks and works the best for hot tubs, so whether it's rose petals, champagne and sparklers or balloons, bunting and hook-a-duck, we may be able to help you out by creating a bespoke package for your needs.
6. Be prepared for the delivery and collection time.
When you hire with us, we give you a choice of date and time, and Ideally, you would be there for both. We need to gain access to the property to set up and take down. We need access to power for both, and we need access to a tap or hose for both, also. We can do things independently, but this must be discussed before the hire day. Please make sure there is parking nearby and easy, clear and safe access to the property so we can manoeuvre the hot tub and other hire items into place.
7. Listen to our advice and get the best experience from your hot tub.
When we set up your tub, we will explain how to use and maintain it. It's not complicated, but make sure you listen and follow the advice for the best experience. We are all friendly people and should be happy to take the time to answer any questions or give you extra support if you need it.
8. Give us a call.
If in doubt or if something goes wrong, call us anytime! Any hot tub hire company worth their salt will do their best to ensure you are happy and comfortable. We are no exception - you can call us anytime, and we will answer.
So that's it, all the basic things you should consider when you're looking to hire a hot tub. I hope this helps and please let me know your thoughts. For any hot tub hire questions and enquiries, please feel free to get in touch with us today!
